Also referred to as a dust excluding socket, this hardware solution is engineered to keep doors open, prevent slamming, and protect walls—without the bulk of traditional stops.

When not in use, NEMA remains flush with the floor. As the door moves above the stop, an integrated magnetic mechanism engages, pulling the floor pin upwards to hold the door in place. This prevents accidental door slamming, reduces wall damage, and eliminates trip hazards, making it a refined choice for contemporary homes.

Compatible with all flooring types—including wood, carpet, tile, and concrete—NEMA is easy to install. The striker plate affixes discreetly to the underside of the door, while the floor pin is secured using a simple drill installation.
