We think about hardware differently.

That’s why we prefer to make things from solid brass, not plated zinc or, aluminium or hollow metal. Why we obsess over finish consistency. Why every piece is made to order.

How we started
meraki. began in 2018 when we couldn’t find the hardware we actually wanted to specify.
Everything was either cheap builder’s merchants fare or absurdly priced designer pieces with more marketing than substance. So we started working directly with specialist manufacturers — first for our own interior projects, then for other designers asking where we’d sourced our brass.
What began as a side project became a full collection. Same philosophy, though: solid materials, precise manufacturing, modern simplicity. No nonsense.
We’re based in the UK but work with makers across Europe and Asia who understand that proper hardware isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about how it feels in your hand, how it ages, whether it’ll still work beautifully in twenty years.
