Product Story
BOR solves the practical challenge of sliding door hardware with solid brass construction and considered design. The flush profile sits entirely within the door surface, creating a clean look when closed and allowing the door to disappear completely into wall pockets without catching on protruding handles.
The set includes both handle plates and an integrated locking mechanism with a mesh privacy indicator that shows at a glance whether the room is occupied. The recessed finger pulls are deep enough for comfortable grip while remaining unobtrusive. All components are machined from solid brass for durability and consistent finish across the set.
Available in antique brass, satin nickel, and black to coordinate with other hardware in your space. Suitable for standard pocket door installations with straightforward mortise preparation required.
Where it works best
Pocket doors between living spaces and hallways. Bathroom sliding doors where privacy locking is essential. Bedroom closet and wardrobe pocket doors. Home office dividers. Any sliding door installation where you want hardware that works seamlessly without visual interruption.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
