Product Story
VORDA is designed for heavier doors that need a serious stop. The solid brass body provides substantial weight, while the integrated rubber ring at the top absorbs impact quietly and protects both door and hardware from damage. Rated for doors up to 120kg.
The cylindrical profile sits cleanly against any skirting or wall. Height and diameter are proportioned to provide effective stopping power without dominating floor space. A single screw secures it firmly to timber or concrete floors. The rubber buffer is replaceable if it ever wears.
Four finishes coordinate with your door furniture: Satin Brass for warm contemporary spaces, Matte Black for graphic contrast, Antique Brass for character, or Unlacquered Brass for natural patina over time.
Where it works best
Heavy internal doors and fire doors. Commercial and residential applications. Hallways with high traffic. Any door that swings with force and needs reliable stopping. Pairs with meraki. door handles and furniture for a cohesive look throughout.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
