Product Story
FRANS draws from the language of traditional turned furniture hardware. The spindle profile and rounded ball-end finials recall antique dressers and period cabinetry, but executed here in clean proportions that work equally well in modern settings. It is heritage without heaviness, detail without decoration for its own sake.
The handle is machined from solid brass, with the turned sections shaped on a lathe for precise symmetry. Available in satin brass for warmth or satin nickel for a cooler, more contemporary feel. Both finishes are sealed to maintain their appearance while allowing natural patina development over extended use on unlacquered versions.
Sized appropriately for cabinet drawers and doors. The proportions work well on kitchen units, bathroom vanities, bedroom furniture, and freestanding storage pieces. Multiple length options allow you to scale the handle to your cabinetry.

Made Properly, Not Quickly

The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
