Product Story
KLINK provides the functional security that double doors require without compromising on material quality. The flush bolt mechanism recesses into the door edge, keeping the profile clean when not engaged. A simple lever action extends or retracts the bolt, securing the inactive door leaf to the frame or floor with satisfying precision.
Every component is solid brass throughout. The bolt body, strike plate, and lever handle are all machined from the same material, ensuring consistent finish and coordinated aging if you choose unlacquered brass. Available finishes include satin brass, satin nickel, black, and unlacquered brass, allowing you to match existing door furniture or create deliberate contrast.
Sized to suit standard residential and light commercial double door installations. The system includes all necessary hardware for mounting. Sold as individual units, so you can configure top and bottom bolts as needed for your specific door arrangement.
Where it works best
French doors and double entry doors where one leaf remains fixed during daily use. Internal double doors separating living spaces. Patio and garden door sets. Any double door configuration where you need reliable security on the passive leaf without visible surface-mounted hardware.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
