Product Story
KRISTAL pairs material opposites to striking effect. A clear acrylic bar forms the grip, transparent enough to let light pass through yet substantial enough to feel solid in hand. Brass collars at the centre and caps at each end add visual weight and tactile warmth, grounding the airiness of the acrylic with metallic precision.
The design carries art deco DNA without being derivative. It feels collected rather than copied, referencing mid-century glamour while remaining clearly contemporary. The contrast between materials creates visual interest that evolves throughout the day as light conditions change and the acrylic catches and scatters whatever illumination reaches it.
Available in multiple length configurations to suit different door sizes and proportions. The brass components are solid throughout and finished to maintain their appearance over time. Installation hardware is included.
Where it works best
Front entrance doors where first impressions matter. Internal feature doors that divide living spaces. Glass doors and partitions where transparency continues the theme. Wardrobe and closet doors in bedrooms with glamorous or maximalist aesthetics. Commercial spaces like boutiques and showrooms where hardware becomes part of the brand experience.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
