Product Story
MORRA is a straightforward bar pull, a cylinder that mounts vertically to the door face, providing secure grip for heavy doors that require pulling rather than levering. The bar diameter is sized for comfortable grip without excessive bulk; ends are capped and smoothed. Fixings conceal behind the bar, so no visible screws interrupt the profile.
Available in multiple lengths to suit different door heights. Five finishes offered. Satin brass brings warmth. Antique brass adds aged depth. Satin nickel provides cooler brightness. Matte black suits modern entries. Unlacquered brass develops natural patina with daily handling.
Where it works best
- Entry doors and front entrances requiring substantial pull
- Large sliding doors, barn style or commercial systems
- Internal doors in commercial buildings, offices, hotels, retail
- Wardrobe and closet doors requiring vertical pull hardware
- Any door where a lever handle is impractical or inappropriate
The bar mounts via threaded studs that pass through the door; fixings tighten from the reverse side, leaving the front face clean. Compatible with timber, composite, and metal doors. Pairs with matching pulls on opposite side for through-bolt installation. Solid brass throughout; no hollow construction. Built for decades of heavy-duty use.
Vertical bar pull. Concealed fixings. Built for substantial doors.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
