Product Story
NEMA uses magnetism rather than friction to hold doors open. The floor-mounted base contains a strong magnet; the wall-mounted catch plate is steel-backed brass. When the door swings open and contacts the catch, the magnetic connection holds it securely without noise or mechanical wear. Release is silent, just pull the door gently and the magnet disengages.
Available in five finishes. Satin brass offers warm, brushed tone. Antique brass adds depth. Satin nickel provides cooler brightness. Matte black suits contemporary interiors. Unlacquered brass will develop natural patina with air and touch, darkening unevenly over time.

The system requires two fixing points: one for the floor base, one for the wall catch. Supplied fixings work on timber, tile, stone floors and plaster or timber walls.
