Product Story
STEN transforms furniture with solid brass legs that bring industrial character to cabinets, sideboards, and sofas. Diamond-pattern knurling covers the cylindrical body while a smooth brass band at the top provides mounting detail and visual refinement.
Replacing furniture legs is one of the simplest ways to upgrade a piece. STEN legs work with standard threaded fittings and can elevate everything from IKEA hacks to vintage finds. Multiple heights suit different furniture proportions and practical needs like robot vacuum clearance.
Four finishes coordinate with your hardware: Satin Brass for warm contemporary, Matte Black for industrial contrast, Antique Brass for vintage character, or Unlacquered Brass for living patina over time.
Where it works best
Sideboards and media units. Kitchen islands and bathroom vanities. Sofas and armchairs. Bedroom furniture. Any piece of furniture that needs more presence, better proportions, or simply higher ground clearance. The finishing touch for IKEA upgrades and furniture customisation.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
