Product Story
TELOS features an angled wedge form that catches the door and holds it open without requiring constant pressure. The brass body is weighted for stability; the rubber contact point grips the door edge without marking. The profile is clean and geometric, functional hardware that reads as intentional architectural detail.
Available in five finishes. Satin brass brings warmth and soft sheen. Antique brass adds depth and aged character. Satin nickel offers cooler, brighter tone. Matte black provides crisp modern contrast. Unlacquered brass will darken with floor contact and air exposure, developing natural patina that reflects years of use.
Where it works best
- Internal doors requiring fixed open position, kitchens, utility rooms, home offices
- Commercial spaces where doors need to stay open during business hours
- Hallways and living areas where airflow or sightlines matter
- Renovations replacing worn wedge-style stops
- Any interior where doors need secure holding without wall-mounted hardware
The angled profile provides mechanical advantage, once the door contacts the wedge, it stays open without sliding back. Works on timber, tile, stone, and sealed concrete floors. The rubber contact is durable and replaceable if required. Pairs with meraki. door hardware for unified detailing. Built for daily reliability.
Angled wedge form. Weighted brass. Built to hold doors open.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
