Product Story
TERRA is a door stop that takes its job seriously. The solid brass body provides substantial weight to hold doors in position without sliding. A black rubber buffer ring absorbs impact quietly, protecting both door and stop from damage.
The proportions are deliberately compact. Enough presence to be noticed as a design element, not so large that it dominates the floor space. The cylindrical form sits cleanly against skirting boards and works with any door swing. Installation is straightforward: a single screw fixes it securely to the floor.
Five finishes to suit your interior: Satin Brass for contemporary warmth, Matte Black for graphic contrast, Antique Brass for depth, Satin Nickel for cooler tones, or Unlacquered Brass for natural patina development.
Where it works best
Any interior door requiring a floor-mounted stop. Hallways and corridors. Bedroom and bathroom doors. Home offices. Properties where you want door furniture to feel considered from handle to floor. The small details that make a space feel properly finished.
Made Properly, Not Quickly
We work with specialist manufacturers who understand that hardware isn't just functional—it's the detail people notice. Some pieces are precision CNC-machined from solid brass billets. Others are sand-cast using traditional methods, then hand-finished to remove any imperfections.
The finishing process is where the real craft happens. Each piece passes through multiple stages—grinding, polishing, plating or patinating—before a final inspection under bright light. Finishes like unlacquered brass are left raw to age naturally. Lacquered finishes are sealed to preserve their original tone.
We don't hold stock. Every order is manufactured specifically for you, which means less waste and hardware that hasn't sat in a warehouse for months. It takes a little longer, but the quality is worth waiting for.
